Ukraine With Love

All of our hearts are breaking, watching the devastation of the war in Ukraine. With many families having a history of coming from that country when it was part of Russia, we wonder, how can we help?

The Peace Lutheran Church of Plevna is holding a fundraiser for those struggling on Saturday, March 26, at the Plevna Community Center starting at 5-7 p.m. The free will offering meal will consist of Ukrainian dishes including, potato pigs (sausage stuffed potatoes), haluptsi (stuffed cabbage rolls), borscht, fried bread and potatoes, sauerkraut, babka, khrustyky (fried cookies), and cherry pie bars.

Thrivent will be helping with funds for the event and 100 percent of the funds will go to the people of Ukraine through the Montana Lutheran Church Synod.

Please join us for a traditional meal and a fun night and offer to share your blessings to help those not so fortunate.
