Allen Wayne Follmer, 58


 

 

Allen Wayne Follmer, 58 years of age passed away Jan. 6, 2022, at Bergan Mercy hospital surrounded by family. He was born Feb. 3, 1963 in Miles City, MT to Glenn and Gloria (Kusler) Follmer. He lived in Baker, MT until 1965, when the family moved to Seattle, WA until 1974, then moved to Plevna, MT and helped on the farm. He attended school at Plevna and graduated in 1982. He attended North Dakota School of Science in Wahpeton, ND and studied electrical. Then he moved to Las Vegas where he worked for his cousin Dennis Malley as an electrician.

He moved to Omaha in 1988 where he met the love of his life Rhonda Dunsdon in church. They were married May, 1990. They have two children, Alicia and Derek. He worked for various companies learning the electrical trade and eventually became electrical inspector for the City of Bellevue along with starting his own company, Allen’s Electric. He and Rhonda enjoyed creating stained glass pieces and selling them at the farmer’s market in Papillion.

Allen is preceded in death by his father Glenn, sister Verleen and nephew Harold Robert Hoppe. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; children Alicia and Derek of Papillion and mother Gloria of Billings, MT, other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial Services will be 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2022 at Heritage Hills Church of The Nazarene, 6909 Cornhusker Road, Papillion, NE with Pastor Ray Cluff and Pastor Elvin Torres officiating. The family will greet friends from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the church prior to services. A memorial fund has been established. There will be private disposition of ashes later in Montana. The Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor, IA is in charge of arrangements.
